Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is a stress reduction treatment program developed in the late 1970s by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. It uses the psychological concept of mindfulness.

The course is inspired by the school of prayer of the Indian Jesuit Anthony de Mello, which combines the tradition of Christian spirituality with Eastern forms of meditation. The course will not be held in complete silence, but there will be occasional space for sharing experiences with exercises and practice.
A retreat is a time to water a tree that we can lean on later when the storms come. A mindfulness retreat is a unique opportunity to tune in to ourselves, gain new energy, and gain inspiration on how to bring more presence into our daily lives.
As part of May’s Meditation Day, we invite you to a special workshop focused on introducing you to meditation and its various forms. Join us and discover how the practice of meditation can enrich your life, reduce stress, and improve your ability to be fully present in every moment.
Over two days you will learn how to truly relax, how to improve your sleep and how to gain more energy with even small changes. Through the connection with mindfulness, you will discover how to return to the present moment throughout the day and thus rest better.
