What awaits you?

The daily program includes 6-7 hours of meditation. In the first part, we will focus on being present and relaxing into the moment that is just happening. The second part will be dedicated to cultivating kindness and compassion – towards ourselves, others and all beings. We will also focus on tonglen meditations. In the third part, we will deepen our contact with the body and its experience and try to expand our perception beyond the boundaries of ordinary body awareness.

If you incorporate this approach into your daily life, you can discover true inner freedom.

The retreat is structured into three main pillars of meditation practice:

  • Samantha meditation (calm and focus)
  • Kindness and Compassion Meditation
  • Body work – embodiment (yoga, movement exercises, boundary work and mirroring)

More about us

I teach 8-week mindfulness courses (MBSR and MBCL, Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living) and lead weekend or multi-day meditation retreats. For me, meditation is a path to myself, a path to others, and a path to wonder at the miracle of life. In addition to teaching, I also translate, including books on mindfulness and meditation. I work as an instructor at the Lipnice Holiday School. I studied philosophy and religious studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, where I am continuing my doctoral studies in religious studies.

For me, mindfulness basically means a sense of security and the experience that everything is fine the way it is right now.
I have completed a series of Mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) and Interpersonal mindfulness program (IMP – focused on communication) courses with Czech and foreign lecturers (Michal Dvořák, Šimon Grimmich, Amir Imani, Rene Ryorin Slikker, Lot Heijke, Elise Jansen Ingrid van den Hout, Wolfgang Schroder, etc.). I have completed MBSR teacher training in Germany. I regularly return to the Bódhi Zendo meditation center in India, where I devote myself to a more intensive practice of Zen meditation. I currently teach MBSR courses and other mindfulness courses at Seznam.cz.
